Dong Thap Water Project<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2006, Donxa conducted the Financial Adoption Program in the village of\u00a0 Dong Thap; a developing suburb of Hanoi. Like the other communities in the under- privileged Dan Phuong District, many lack basic living standards and the rural people are using impure and unsafe water from drilled wells and water filtration pools- forced to by lack of money and resources.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to the Foster Parents FP0154- Luc & Anne-Marie\u2019s request and support, Donxa decided to provide the 27 families on the list of the \u2018Financial Adoption Program\u2019 in the Dong Thap Commune with purified water and to help improve the health and life quality of the poor families. This includes families with foster children and foster candidate\u2019s children. Donxa also helped many families in financial difficulties and helped their children to attend school.<\/p>\n

Donxa chose the BVT Ltd Water Company to provide the families with the water and they receive \u00a0an average of four bottles of purified water per household, per month.<\/p>\n

Ms Le Thi Ha, the mother of Hien- DP0097 happily shared:\u00a0\u201cWe are so grateful for the support from our children\u2019s<\/em> foster parents. <\/em>They help our children go to school and now they are kind enough to give us bottles of clean water. This is like a great present for us in this coming hot summer. Please send our sincere thanks to them\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

We are still looking for support for this project so we can help more people in Dong Thap and other near-by areas have the chance to upgrade their life quality and have clean and safe drinking water, something so many of us take for granted.<\/p>\n
